Within 16 minutes of their Championship clash with Bolton Wanderers this afternoon, Preston North End were 2-0 ahead. Goals coming by way of one Irish international, and a prospective international, it was Alan Browne who really caught the eye.
With 3-caps to his name thus far, Browne demonstrated incredible skill to put Alex Neill's side 2-0 ahead after quarter-of-an-hour of play. Controlling the ball on his chest, the Cork native struck his effort sweetly into the top corner.
Alan. Browne. Makes. Special. Goals. Happen. #pnefc

The game's opener came by way of a future Irish international in Callum Robinson. Giving Preston the lead after only 11 minutes of play, Robinson finished his early chance exquisitely.
In the end, as good as Preston's start was, they would be pegged back to 2-2 before half-time. In a quick turnaround, Bolton grabbed two goals in as many minutes and proceedings would end that way in what will be a disappointing result for Preston.
Best goal I have seen at Deepdale Alan Browne but we are second best at 45 and holding on
