With thanks to Life Style Sports, we're bringing the Premier League team of the week, with the stats to back it up.
Rather than having to listen to our, or Garth Crooks often wrong opinions on who should make the team we thought we'd actually use, you know, statistics and stuff to decide on who should make the 11.
So, with the help of the whoscored.com ratings, we've put together the best team from an enthralling weekend in the Premier League.
Goalkeeper
Heurelho Gomes - 8.4
The former Spurs stopper was in fine form once again for the Hornets this weekend after he pulled off five saves including one penalty stop to earn them a point away from Vicarage road. Gomes has started the season in fine form and seems to have put all of his Tottenham woes behind him

Right back
Hector Bellerin - 7.9
Bellerin turned in a strong performance against United keeping Juan Mata and Memphis Depay firmly in his back pocket. The two United wide men are known for swapping wings however it didn't faze the 20 year old in the slightest.

Centre back
Per Mertesacker - 8.3
Often criticised for being too slow by Gunners fans and perhaps past his best, Mertesacker silenced his critics by putting in a commanding display to ensure his side kept a clean sheet after they raced into a 3-0 lead.

Ramiro Funes Mori - 8.1 The Argentine excelled in his first Merseyside Derby and seemed to relish the occasion. The new recruit dominated aerially as well as making a crucial interception in the 88th minute. Funes Mori wears Nike Mercurial Superfly boots available here
Left back
Christian Fuchs - 8.0 Leicester refused to let their poor display against Arsenal derail their upwards momentum. The full back was a constant threat down the left flank and was effective going forward. Fuchs wears Adidas Ace 15.1 boots which are exclusive to Life Style Sports and available here
Midfield
Kevin De Bruyne - 10 De Bruyne has taken the Premier League by storm since his big money arrival from Wolfsburg. The Tintin lookalike was in fine form once again on Saturday afternoon registering two assists and a glorious volley during the 6-1 rout of Newcastle. He's now netted more direct free kicks since his début in 2013 (6) than any other player in the league. Eriksen wears Nike Magista Optus available here

Mesut Ozil - 8.8
Ozil was at his undeniable best on Sunday during Arsenal's mauling of Manchester United. The German playmaker created one and scored one within minutes, proving he can bring it in the big matches.

Forwards
Alexis Sanchez- 9.6
Garth Crooks may fancy him more as a wing back however we prefer to see Sanchez further up the field in his natural position. His two goals at the weekend were of the highest quality and he provided a sumptuous flick in the build up for Arsenal's second.

Sergio Aguero- 10 Winner of the weekend was Sergio Aguero. After Man City's sluggish performance in the opening 40 minutes, Aguero decided he'd take ten touches and score five goals before calling it a day on the hour mark.

Sadio Mané - 9.4
The Senegalese international was in inspired form as Southampton produced an emphatic away performance to heap more misery on Jose Mourinho. The winger scored one and assisted one in the victory and was unfortunate not to be awarded a penalty in the first half.
