We're roughly halfway through the 2021/2022 Premier League season.
It's been one with many narratives. The breakaway trio of Manchester City, Liverpool and Chelsea is one example. The Ole Gunnar Solskjaer debacle is another.
Then you have the high achieving West Ham side under David Moyes and the turnaround ushered at Arsenal. Not to mention the current Covid crisis hitting clubs.
What we do have to look back on each year are statistics. They don't paint the overall picture of success and failure but they do provide some interesting backdrops.
Premier League Stats So Far
Mohamed Salah is very much the kingpin of the Premier League stat sheet so far. His fifteen goals and eight assists are the most of any player in the league.
The Liverpool forward is in fine form for his club domestically and in Europe. His seven goals in Champions League competition brings his goal tally to twenty-two.

Manchester City dominate the passing statistics with João Cancelo completing the most passes with 1,408. He's followed closely by Rodri and Rúben Dias.
The most minutes played in the Premier League season so far are shared by two goalkeepers. José Sá at Wolves and Illan Meslier at Leeds have played 1,620 minutes.
Speaking of goalkeepers - Manchester City's Ederson has racked up the most clean sheets with ten. To little surprise, Alisson of Liverpool and Mendy of Chelsea are next.
Then it's the turn of most shots saved. Leeds United's Illan Meslier has made 65 saves this season. Unfortunately, he's also conceded the most goals with 36.
The most shots taken by any player is Mo Salah with seventeen more attempts on goal than any other player. Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo has hit the woodwork the most, seven times.
Manchester United midfielder Bruno Fernandes has laid on the most through balls with fourteen, while Liverpool's Trent Alexander-Arnold has put in the most crosses with 141.
On the defensive side of things, Brentford's Christian Nørgaard has made more tackles than any other Premier League player, with 53 to his name so far.
Burnley's James Tarkowski has made the most blocks with 25. Romain Saïss of Wolves has made the most clearances, with 93 this season.
Saïss also has the most headed clearances of any player, followed closely by Brighton and Republic of Ireland defender Shane Duffy.

When it comes to discipline - three players are tied on six yellow cards - which is the most in the league. Rúben Neves, Emmanuel Dennis and Mohammed Salisu.
Watford's Emmanuel Dennis has committed the most fouls with 38, seven more than any other player. Jamie Vardy has been caught offside the most for Leicester City.
