It didn't take long for the cream to rise to the top of our BullorBear Premier League predictions league, with yours truly a shining beacon in a sea of mediocrity.
After the first week of the Balls.ie Gilles Grimandi Invitational, I hold a commanding, two point lead with eight correct predictions from the weekend gone by. I would compare myself to Nostradamus but then again Nostradamus never correctly predicted that there would be exactly three goals in the Swansea v Arsenal match.
Now I don't mean to come across patronising or boastful here. If anything I am, in fact, too modest. For instance I fancied Aston Villa to get a result against Man City but rather than go with my own imperious instinct I decided to listen to the so-called 'pundits' and changed my prediction to a draw.
Not to worry though, it was but a mere dot of stray ink on this genius's canvass of perfection.
There are three more gameweeks to go before I claim the jackpot and move to LA on the back of the winnings. My message to the rest of you sorry excuses for people that are chasing me? Come at me bitches! Come at me!
Anyhow I would obviously strongly recommend that anyone who hasn't set up their own predictions league amongst their friends, do so this week. It's plenty of craic and it's a real chance to win some decent cash. Plus you can check the world standings every week to see how far you are behind me ... Winky face. Sticky out tongue face.
