After his exploits at Blackburn Rovers last season, it has been no surprise to see Sammie Szmodics linked with a number of other clubs this summer.
The 28-year old was one of the standout performers in the Championship, topping the division's scoring charts and logging 33 goals in all competitions. It was a remarkable breakthrough campaign for the forward, who had never previously managed to produce those types of numbers during his time in the EFL.
He was rewarded with a first international cap back in March, with Szmodics already looking like a key part of the Ireland team moving forward.
Now, he could be on the brink of a Premier League move.

Premier League Club Make Their For Ireland's Sammie Szmodics
Sammie Szmodics has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, with Blackburn Rovers said to be seeking a fee of up to £20million in order to sanction his departure.
It remains to be seen if they will manage to get a fee of that size, although it seems as though a Premier League side are keen to enter negotiations.
Well connected transfer reporter Alan Nixon is reporting that Ipswich Town have submitted a bid to sign Sammie Szmodics from Blackburn.

It remains to be seen if a deal can be thrashed out, although you would imagine that the player will be keen to make the move to the English top flight.
Ipswich Town are certainly a club on the rise, earning back-to-back promotions under Fermanagh native Kieran McKenna. They have already spent heavily in the transfer market this summer, signing the likes of Omari Hutchinson, Jacob Greaves, and Liam Delap all for fees in excess of £20million.
It would certainly be an intriguing move for Sammie Szmodics, who may well feel that at 28 now is the time to make the next step in his career.
This is one to watch over the coming days.
