Today's Euro 2024 draw in Hamburg was disrupted by sex noises which played over the PA at the Elbphilharmonie in the middle of the ceremony. The noises were the result of a prank and played as the likes of Brian Laudrup and David Silva made the draw for this summer's tournament.

Well-known pranker BMW Jarvo twitter account claimed credit for the stunt, and uploaded a video of him making the sounds happen in real-time recorded from Hamburg. The prank causes palpable awkwardness for the ex-players on stage and some confusion in the hall.

The 'BMW Jarvo' twitter account has been documenting unneeded and unwanted sports pranks on social media for the last few years, including the Champions League final plus Ireland rugby matches at the Aviva and Twickenham.
The Euro 2024 draw in full
Despite the audio disruption, the draw was eventually completed. The tournament will begin with a meeting between Germany and Scotland. Hungary and Switzerland fill out the group.
Scotland manager Steve Clarke welcomed the draw:
Group B meanwhile will be particularly nostalgic for Irish fans as it features the three teams Ireland faced during the disastrous Euro 2012 group stages. Albania will take Ireland's place in the Group of Death this year.
