Roy Keane Has Been Found In A Renaissance Painting In Florence

Portrait of a Gentleman in a Fur is a painting by Italian renaissance artist Paolo Veronese. As you can see the gentleman in question is Roy Keane. Some may point to the fact that the painting dates to the mid sixteenth century as 'proof' that it isn't really the Ireland assistant.

But knowing what we know about his miraculous powers, who'd doubt the fact that he is really 500 years old and has only gotten slightly greyer in that time?

That hint of silver in the beard really makes it.

We'll be very disappointed if Roy doesn't show up to tonight's clash in Faro covered in ermine fur just to prove that he searches himself on social media all day.

The photo of the portrait was taken by redditor Deeheefish and all we can say is thank for bringing this to the world's attention.

And thanks to Michael Whelan for pointing us in the right direction.
