Porto Lose First Home Game In 5 Years; Fans Go Nuts

Porto lost their first home game since October 2008 at the weekend. A late penalty from Estoril's Evandro gave the away side a famous victory in Oporto. You might expect the Porto supporters to take it on the chin and philosophically acknowledge that they've had a good run of it over the last few years. But no, the supporters jeered angrily, waved white flags and abused the players as they left the pitch. Outside they swarmed around the stadium as the players and coaching staff slouched off in their tinted, suave, black shame-mobiles (the universal mode of transport for the disgraced rich person).

The manager admitted he would have to consider his position. The elderly club President Jorge Pinto da Costa had a tense and almost physical encounter with reporters outside.
