It really hasn't been a great 24 hours for Mario Balotelli. Greater Manchester Police are investigating a claim that Mario Balotelli threatened a woman taking pictures of his Ferrari.
Police were called to the Wythenshawe area of Manchester just after 3pm this afternoon, where the woman alleged that Balotelli "moved toward her daughter" who was taking pictures of his parked car.
A spokesman for the GMP said that they had received a "report of threatening behaviour". No further comment will be made at this time.
The alleged incident compounds a pretty terrible couple of days for the 24-year-old. He was substituted at half time in Liverpool's 0-3 defeat to Real Madrid and was criticised for swapping shirts with Pepe during the break. Both his manager and Jamie Carragher defended the exchange, but Rodgers said that he advised Balotelli of the norms dictated by the footballing culture of Britain.
