Man Utd's squad for tomorrow evening's game against Newcastle had received a welcome boost.
Jose Mourinho announced that Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Paul Pogba and Marcos Rojo will all be part of the matchday group.
Ibrahimovic is yet to play this season. He has been out of action since April when he suffered a knee injury during a Europa League game against Anderlecht.
Pogba has not played since September when he suffered hamstring injury against Basel in the Champions League.
Like Ibrahimovic, Rojo has also been out of action since sustaining a knee injury back in April.
Speaking to MUTV on Friday, Mourinho said:
The players that stayed here and [were] recovering from injuries, even the ones that are recovering from big injuries, they are ready to play.
Asked to specifically name the players who were returning from "big injuries", Mourinho identified "Pogba, Ibrahimovic and Marcos Rojo."
