British actor Tim Roth has been announced as the man to play Sepp Blatter in a new film celebrating 110 years of FIFA.
Roth, noted for playing opportunistic criminal Ringo in 1994's Pulp Fiction, will play the Swiss football administrator in the production due out next year.
Blatter commented in a video on FIFA's official website that:
'Tim Roth was quite surprised to meet me but we have some, let’s say, common qualities. I have to say it was a very interesting get-together. I was very eager to meet him and I have just realised we have something in common.'
Quite what these common qualities are is unknown but the video seems to suggest that it could be a penchant for champagne and dashing strokes of their long hair.
