One of the strange quirks of modern football is the fact that ever since the European Cup was rebranded to the Champions League, no side has ever successfully defended it. Thanks to the work of Jean-Marc Bosman, however, a few players have managed the feat on their own, with two different clubs. Not many of them, however: only four since the competition's revamping in 1992.
With Real Madrid in the semi-finals this week, and looking capable of ending that strange run, we've decided to test you on naming those four players who have won the competition back-to-back. To help you out, we've put the years they lifted the trophy alongside their names.
