The new Tottenham kits for 2014-15 have been officially revealed on the club’s website, and they don’t look too bad at all.
The shirts include an inscription which mark 10 years since the death of Bill Nicholson, the former Spurs player who became the greatest manager in the club’s history.
Under Nicholson, the Lilywhites revolutionised their playing style and won the double in 1961, as well as the European Cup Winners’ Cup (1963), three FA Cups and a UEFA Cup (1972).
The words “Echo of Glory” are printed on the top of the shirt, and are taken from a famous Nicholson quote about the club: ‘It is better to fail aiming high than to succeed aiming low. And we of Spurs have set our sights very high, so high in fact that even failure will have in it an echo of glory.’
The kits are made by UnderArmour and will be sponsored by AIA. Spurs fan or not, what do you think of them?
