Michael Owen was an unused substitute during Stoke's loss to Spurs at the Britannia yesterday. He has only made eight appearances for Stoke this season but still seems to have endeared himself to his teammates if the pictures he tweeted before the game are anything to go by.
Yesterday would have been Owen's final chance to make an appearance for Stoke at the Britannia so some fellow Stoke players decided to cover his Mercedes in eggs and flour.
This is what I will miss once I hang up my boots! Looks like I may be delayed getting to the match. #eggs&flour twitter.com/themichaelowen…

Ireland midfielder, Glenn Whelan, is named as one of the chief suspects in this disgusting piece of vandalism.
It's a long week lads. Revenge is in the air! Chief suspects: Whitehead and Whelan. Huth is a possible too. twitter.com/themichaelowen…
