Thousands of runners turned out for the Run in the Dark event in Dublin last night. The race was held in aid of the Mark Pollock Trust which raises funds for research of spinal cord injuries.
There were both 5K and 10K races run with similar events in Dublin, Cork, Belfast, London and Manchester all being held at the same time.
The runners are pictured below around the Convention Centre, Samuel Beckett bridge and Hannover Quay.
