In Tonight's Airtricity League tie between Drogheda United and Dundalk, Dundalk had what looked a perfectly good goal disallowed.  Setanta commentators confirmed that the officials, led by referee Alan Kelly, had decided the ball went out of play.  This photo by Sportsfile's Paul Mohan clearly shows that Pat Hoban kept the ball in play.

Earlier it had had a little pop at local rivals Drogheda United.

UPDATE; In the end the decision mattered little as Hoban sored a second half winner as Dundalk won 1-0 to move within 6 point sof leaders St Pats, who they play on Friday.
