Per Mertesacker's Point Blank Miss Against Bournemouth Cannot Be Watched Enough

Grace is an adjective unlikely to be used in association with Per Mertesacker.

The gangly 6' 6" defender often appears to be just barely capable of controlling the actions of his own limbs.

During Arsenal's Monday evening fixture against Bournemouth, Mertesacker's inability to adjust his body led to an incredible miss.

After a header from a Mesut Ozil corner bounced in the six-yard box and then hit the post, it hit the German defender straight in the face.
