Pep Guardiola was unveiled as the new head coach of Bayern Munich this afternoon at a press conference in the Bavarian capital. He spoke throughout the press conference in German, an impressive feat for someone who only began to learn the language in the past few months. His opening gambit though could have been stolen from Leaving Cert oral notes - his attempt at the stock phrase "Ich hoffe, dass ich hier in der nächsten Zeit meine Deutschkenntnisse verbessern kann" was a little shaky however, but should earn him a solid B2.
