Pep Guardiola sees the game of football differently to most.
A man who drills his football philosophy into his players and often produces spectacular results, the former Barcelona captain and manager is doing great things with Bayern Munich this year, that Champions League blip against Arsenal aside.
Tonight, Pep's men took on Wolfsburg in the German cup, and the tactical mastermind played a formation that will make football hipsters everywhere dizzy:

And the results?
3-0 up within 35 minutes. They then went into coast mode and wound up 3-1 winners. Muller's 1st and 2nd goals were almost identical too.
The official team sheet was reported as a 4-3-3, but it was clear early on that Alaba had been pushed right up as far as possible, with Coman and Costa operating just off of Robert Lewandowski.
