An unusual story from Belgian newspaper Het Laatste Nieuws, which reveals that nine football teams in South East Flanders have had their penalty and centre spots stolen since Tuesday.
The worst to suffer have been KFC Herzele who also had their four corner flags taken. Club President Fabrice Heymans said: "Moreover one of our players stumbled in the pit, causing a serious injury. We called the police to make a report but they did not bother to come."
Sounds like they need someone to keep an eye on those corner flags.
Sadly, Richie Sadlier won't get this reference.
