Game on, Ger.
Liverpool managed to muster a mundane result against a determined West Ham tonight, leaving their lead at the top of the Premier League table at just three points. Despite scoring thanks Sadio Mane after an offside pass from James Milner, Jurgen Klopp still cut a frustrated man post-match.
Klopp suggested the referee tried to even it up for the rest of the game.
I hear meanwhile that our goal was offside. Pretty sure the referee knew that then in the second half as well because I don't know if we had... in 50/50 situations or 60/40 it was always a free kick for the other team. So that was a bit hard.
His protests resulted in a tested exchange between the Liverpool boss and Manuel Pellegrini.

Speaking during his post-match press conference, the Hammers manager had little sympathy.
"Klopp is used to winning with goals offside. He beat at Malaga with a goal that was seven metres offside, so he can’t complain about anything."
Pellegrini was referencing a goal scored by Borussia Dortmund against Malaga in 2013 Champions League semi-final.
The result ties un an enthralling title race, with Manchester City in action again midweek when they face Liverpool's rivals, Everton.
