Pelé will be in Cannes next week for the premiere of a new film about his life, simply entitled, 'Pele'. The film was directed by the Zimblaist brothers who also directed the much lauded ESPN 30 For 30 documentary, 'The Two Escobars'.

The film Pele will tell Pele's life story, from humble beginnings through leading "Brazil to its first ever world cup victory in 1958,” according to an announcement Thursday.
Pele will also exec produce the film, which is being shopped by Exclusive Media International, beginning with an introduction by Exclusive’s president of international sales and distribution Alex Walton at the annual film festival.
Hopefully it will feature the same quality acting from Pelé that we saw during this ad he did for Viagra along with his appearance in 'Escape From Victory'.
