Pay To Play: For 20k You Could Play For Macclesfield!

Macclesfield Town FC are offering you, lucky reader, the chance to play for the silkmen in a cup or league game for ten minutes. All you have to do is part with 20,000 of the Queen's shiniest pounds.

You will be registered with the FA, be given a full set of training and playing kits, train for a week with the first team squad, be included in the team photo and be brought on to play at least ten minutes in a Conference Premier or cup game this season.

There are some conditions attached unfortunately. Only fit males between 18 and 35 are eligible able to apply. The good news though is that you do not have to be a fan.

With a bit of arithmetic with exchange rates and the like, we've worked out at that rate that last night's Euromillions winner could play 443 games for Macclesfield. Would you fork out the £20,000 for the 10 minutes of fame?
