The name Maldini is synonymous with that of AC Milan with Cesare and Paolo among any conversation about the Rossineri's greatest ever players and now a third member of the clan has started to make his mark in the red and black.
Christian Maldini took all of two minutes to score on his Milan youth team debut against Perugia before he had to unfortunatley depart due to injury. The youngster wore number 6 and started at centre-half and La Gazzetta report Dad Paolo ran down to the dressing room to check on Christian after he suffered the injury, which is not thought to be serious.
Those of us of a certain age retain a romantic attachment to Football Italia so it's safe to say Christian's progress will be watched with interest.
Also, no pressure son.
