Dirk Kuyt Reveals Paul Pogba's Fury With Man Utd Teammates

Dirk Kuyt has made some very interesting remarks about the conduct of the Manchester United players during the Red Devils' defeat to his side Feyenoord on Thursday.

One player in particular was the focus of Kuyt's attention.

Paul Pogba may be a recent arrival into the United camp but, according to Kuyt, he hasn't wasted any time in getting stuck into his new team-mates when he thinks they are performing below par.

All I heard during the first half against United was Pogba screaming and shouting at his own players.

And when it was half-time, he was shouting at them all even louder.

He was screaming at them about the things which were not going right for the team.

And Kuyt has perhaps stoked the fires ahead of his side's return fixture at Old Trafford at the end of November, implying that Jose Mourinho's side are quite limited in how they play. The Red Devils faced heavy criticism for being tactically outmanoeuvred against Manchester City last weekend.

The thing about United is that they only know one way to play.

We waited for them to attack and stayed very compact as a team because we knew that if you attack them from the beginning then you run into a knife.

They love to counter-attack. But, if you stop them doing that, then you know that you will always get chances against them.

It should perhaps be pointed out at this juncture that Kuyt isn't exactly a totally impartial observer - not only has he faced United with Feyenoord but he was a fan favourite at Liverpool for several years. Not least because he once scored perhaps the most unspectacular hat-trick in Premier League history against United for the Merseyside club.

Kuyt is not the only Liverpool associate throwing jibes in the direction of Old Trafford this week. Whoever runs the Liverpool Twitter account has been royally winding up Gary Neville (albeit indirectly).

There's no doubt that United are going through a rough patch. Your heart bleeds for them.
