Usually, when former pros appear on radio or TV and are asked about their former teammates, they tell a funny story that usually ends in everyone smiling and remembering what a great bloke he was, but when Paul Parker was asked what it was like to play with Peter Schmeichel, he had a different idea.
Speaking on 'League of Legends', the former Man United full-back was asked what it was like to play with the great Dane, and he described him as a bit cowardly, and incredibly arrogant with a big ego behind him.
Parker played in front of Schmeichel at a time of great success for Manchester United in the early-to-mid 90s, but clearly the two didn't get along.
We've heard former teammates describe Schmeichel as loud and commanding, but usually they say that while picking him in their best ever teammate XI, so we were surprised by Parker's comments.
He certainly didn't mince his words!
He had such a big ego, he was so arrogant, everything was 'Me! Me! Me!'
His issue with Schmeichel sleeping and not walking around Manchester city centre as he did is certainly a strange one, you can't help but wonder if something happened between the two to provoke this.
Anyway, he's said what he has said and now we'll wait and see if 'Big Pete' has anything to say in return.
