Gary Neville's Overlap podcast visited Dublin last night for its first-ever live Irish show last night. Sold-out in minutes, the 3 Arena was the place to be last night for anyone remotely interested in football, as Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane joining Neville on the couch.
While there was all the usual conversation from the regular Sky Sports panel, it was special guest Paul McGrath who stole the show. As the man of the hour arrived on stage, choruses of OOH AH PAUL MCGRATH resounded around the arena.

The video alone is enough to show you how much of a hold our Paul McGrath has on the hearts of Irish football fans. Twitter was absolutely buzzing with reactions from those who attended the event,
I’ve been at football grounds where 60,000 people are celebrating a goal and it comes nowhere near as loud as it was when at The Overlap kelly cates introduced Paul McGrath on stage genuinely feared for the 3arena thinking it was going to cave

While McGrath stole the show there was also some vintage Roy Keane comedy as well

While the former Man United captain usually is known for making himself heard, his appearance on The Overlap presented a whole new challenge with Keane's remarks just barely loud enough to drown out the cauldron of noise chanting Keano.
Keane also had some kind words to say about Evan Ferguson.
It’s great for any young player to get involved in the senior team and score his first goal. Obviously worried that people get carried away. He’s still 18 but the prospects are good. I watched the game last night. Listen, it wasn’t great. Obviously, the tough game is on Monday [against France] but it is great to see these young players come through. It’s nice to get excited but you’ve got to give the kid a chance to mature. It’s a great start for him. I’m absolutely delighted for him. He seems like a nice kid.”
All in all a great night seemed to be had by many who attended.
Great night with these 3 boys @3ArenaDublin
