Paul Konchesky, a man who played in a UEFA Cup final before his mother started a firestorm at Anfield by defending her son from the scorn of supporters she termed "scouse scum" who were "living in the past", is now playing non-league football, with Billericay Town.
We're not sure how Konchesky motivated himself before games in the past, - perhaps before Liverpool games he took a call from is mum - but the scalingiof emotional pitches in non-league comes a surprise to Konchesky, judging by his bemused reaction to this.
Before a recent game, the Billericay players huddled together to sing together to get themselves pumped ahead of kick-off. The choice of song is somewhat surprising...R Kelly's The World's Greatest.
Watch it below, it is totally surreal.

Thanks also to Keith Dunne and Alan Cawley for flagging the full video, in which manager and owner Glenn Tamplin comes across as a total lunatic.

Although in fairness to him, they did go on to win the game in question 8-3.
