This past week St Patrick's Athletic won the league title. As their players celebrated they made sure to have some lighthearted digs at those who doubted them. Here's some tweets from captain Conor Kenna

Midway through the season MNS pundit Stuey Byrne suggested Pats would struggle "when he cold weather kicks in". Byrne continued to tip Shamrock Rovers for the title throughout the season. They're currently 5th.

Sean O'Connor left the team after last season, suggesting in the national media that the club lacked ambition. Pats fans have had no qualms about reminding him of this all season and he had a message for them after being sent off as Pats beat Rovers 4-0 in August.
Pats continue their league season tomorrow against Derry City, clearly in good spirits
