Derry City's Patrick McClean, younger brother of Ireland and West Brom winger James, could well be joining his sibling in England's West Midlands in the coming months.
The Birmingham Mail reports that the 19-year-old defender went on trial at League One Walsall yesterday, where he was set to be put through his paces by manager John Whitney at the club's Essington training ground.
Walsall's Banks's Stadium is located less than a mile from Albion's Birmingham Road training ground, so were a move to Walsall to transpire, brothers McClean would be based down the road from each other.
The younger McClean brother confirmed the trial on Monday.
It's hardly surprising that the younger McClean brother would be linked with a move to England when we've seen him net strikes like this for Derry City.
He made 12 first team appearances for the Candystripes this season.
The big question, of course, is whether or not English football and indeed wider society is ready for a second McClean...
