Padraig Amond is in the form of his life. Last night, the ex-Shamrock Rovers striker hit his 30th of the season for Grimsby in the National League - what was formerly the Conference.
Amond scored all three goals for his side at they beat Woking 3-1. It was his third hat-trick of the season. He actually scored four in a 7-0 win versus Halifax in October.
The Carlow man's first of the night was the pick of the bunch. In fact, in might be the pick of his career.
Possibly the best goal I've ever scored. Collectors item too from outside the box ?? https://t.co/ACapskQwnR

The 28-year-old has been in lethal form this season. According to the BBC, those 30 goals have been scored via just 65 shots on target. He currently has a strikerate of a goal every 105 minutes.
Here's that goal from last night.
Grimsby are currently third in the National League. With automatic promotion to League Two not possible, Amond will be looking to fire Grimsby back into the Football League through the playoffs.
