Oxlade Chamberlain's Dad Slept While His Son Scored

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain scored a cracker against Brazil for England on Sunday but his father, Mark, missed the goal because he had fallen asleep while watching the game.

He went on BBC Radio to talk about his son's goal but admitted that he didn't know that he had scored until he received a phone call from his agent.

Mark Chamberlain was a pretty well-knownn footballer himself and player for England when they beat Brazil at the Maracana in 1984 through John Barnes' wondergoal.
