Middlesborough and Derby County played out a tense 1-1 draw today at the Riverside Stadium in a game that featured two own-goals.
It was a huge opportunity for Frank Lampard's Derby to take all three points with the top of the table within touching distance. However, having taken the lead through a George Friend own-goal, disaster struck in the last five minutes as Jayden Bogle mishit a clearance.

Scott Carson had been involved in a collision prior to the goal so was unable to come out for the ball.
Speaking on Sky Sports, former Derby striker Darren Bent said it was a deserved reward for Tony Pulis's team who were 'the better side.' He also criticised certain senior Derby players for their reaction after the set-back: "not the reaction I wanted to see." However, Bent was full of praise for Lampard who after the final whistle immediately ran to the 18-year-old to comfort him.
Lampard himself placed no blame at Bogle's door.
I'm really disappointed because it's a freak. Jayden Bogle was fantastic, as he has been all season. It is a freak goal which can happen when they are direct like that.
