Örgryte keeper Peter Abrahamsson has put himself forward as a serious contender for being the dumbest goalkeeper in all of Sweden. Less than a minute into his side's game against Hammarby (the team who had some amazing scenes at the opening of their new stadium) he chose to punch the ball clear while outside of his penalty area. It was not as if he had completely misjudged the flight of the ball either because he could definitely have chosen to head the ball clear.

Without a doubt, at that point in the game, the benefit of still having eleven players on the pitch definitely outweighs the prevention of a goal scoring opportunity for the opposition.
Örgryte ended up losing the game 3-0.
