In an unlikely bromance, high-flying Leicester City appear to have made quite an alliance with NFL's Carolina Panthers.
The Panthers went 15-1 in the NFL's regular season to earn a bye in the playoffs, and will face the Seahawks in one of the biggest games of the divisional round. The NFL fans in Leicester City decided to pin their colours to the mast and back Cam Newton's boys, starting a wonderful twitter exchange:

The two teams do have some similarities. While the Panthers rise to 15-1 wasn't as dramatic as Leicester's the American team did have the best record in the season by surprise, having been 7-8-1 last season. They did win a bad division last season, and were expected to win the NFC South again, but not in this fashion.
Leicester also sent the Panthers some jerseys, which kicker Graham Gano seemed to be thrilled about:
Special thanks to @LCFC for supporting the @Panthers & sending this jersey! I will wear it proudly! #KeepPounding pic.twitter.com/YeTR5tEkLE

But the best part of the conversation was between the two teams, who after wishing each other well at the weekend, were making some football jokes and comparisons. Then the Panthers whipped out this Step Brothers reference:

Ah the beauty of twitter.
