Good news for Arsenal fans this evening, as they will get a chance to look at one of their most highly rated young players in Premier League competition this year.
Germany U21 international midfielder Serge Gnabry missed the entirety of last season due to injury, and hasn't played for Arsenal since March 2014, but after making a full recovery he has agreed to join West Bromwich Albion on an initial six month loan deal with an option for a further six months.
Gnabry signed for Arsenal from Stuttgart back in 2011 for a fee of £100,000 and has made 18 senior appearances since as injuries and competition for places have restricted his opportunities in the first team, but Arsene Wenger will be hoping that West Brom boss Tony Pulis gives his young star a chance to shine in the Premier League.
As Gnabry would have been well down the pecking order in the Arsenal midfield, even with the recent injury to Jack Wilshere, it's clear that a loan deal suits all parties. It will be interesting to see if he can force himself into the West Brom side for the start of the Premier League season.
