It's been a busy transfer window for Irish international footballers. Robbie Brady and Jeff Hendrick are being linked with moves back to the Premier League after starring in the Euros; and Shane Long is being coveted by a host of European clubs.

But one international who has already been the subject of several bids has confirmed he's not going anywhere.

Johnny Hayes, who debuted for Aberdeen on Good Friday, has recommitted himself to the club. The winger was the subject of a £500,000 bid from Wigan, but Hayes' comments look to put the issue to bed.

I am enjoying my football at Aberdeen and want to raise my wee boy here.

I am still contracted to Aberdeen for another two years and know the manager and myself are both pulling in the right direction. We both want Aberdeen to get even better.

As long as the manager is here I’m happy.
