Naturally, we've sworn off British Twitter Reactions for the year. They're so 2014 and if the comments sections are to be believed, folk grew a tad weary of them by the end of last season's championship (of course, Google analytics told a different story, but how and ever). The views of outsiders on the League of Ireland are always worth soliciting, not least because a large chunk of the Irish population choose to spurn the domestic league.

George Caulkin of the London Times dropped down to the Showgrounds last night, no doubt curious as to how Micky Adams is faring in his new surroundings. The 1-0 win is the second win on the spin for Sligo, and their relegation fears continue to ease.

In addition to being impressed by the 'beautiful setting' at the Showgrounds (it fared rather well in our ranking of the League of Ireland grounds), he was lost in admiration for Sligo centre-half Tim Clancy and his Martin Riggs style approach to coping with a dislocated shoulder.

And, as any GAA fan will tell you, you wouldn't see that in the Premiership.
