Ridiculing Manchester United has always been a popular past-time among non-United fans. It's just that they didn't often get the chance to lampoon them during Fergie's years of plenty. Now, United are deep in their Graeme Sounness at Anfield phase, the ABU's are having a whale of a time.
But there is one country where slagging Manchester United probably constitutes an act of dangerous subversion.
The Independent report that Korean leader, Kim Jong Un, who is still riding high in the opinion polls, is a big Manchester United fan.

He has politely inquired as to whether it would be possible for state TV to broadcast Man United's future games. And by 'politely inquired' we mean ordered on pain of the usual things that happen to Korean officials who fail to execute orders.
Many non-United folk have suggested that pumping Manchester United games directly into his people's homes is one of the cruellest things yet to inflict on the already beleaguered Korean people.
