To describe Tottenham Hotspur's current run of form as difficult would be an understatement.

For weeks now, both the players and Ange Postecoglou have been suffering dogged results from teams up and down the table - with the Londoners currently sitting 15th in the table having claimed just eight wins and three draws in 24 Premier League fixtures.

While they've been plagued by injuries and forced to utilise a relatively tight squad week in, week out, Postecoglou's Spurs are not set to be the beneficiaries of any relent this weekend when Ruben Amorim's Manchester United visit Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday.

Despite just being two points apart in the table, the two managers' positions couldn't be further apart. For Amorim, a loss might see his side drop below Spurs in the standings. However, for Postecoglou, a loss will be the latest in a long line of results that have his job at more risk than any other manager in the top flight of English football.

Jamie Redknapp has a damning take on Daniel Levy's priorities

As with all modern football clubs, Postecoglou might be the one fronting up in front of the cameras weekly, but behind the cameras club chairman Daniel Levy is under as much pressure as his Australian manager.

Speaking ahead of Tottenham's clash with Manchester United, former Spurs star Jamie Redknapp had a scathing assessment of Levy's priorities, suggesting hosting a Beyonce gig was enough for the club.

Here I think as long they've got the American Football and they've got Beyonce in the summer, I think they're happy. I think the owners are happy - it looks like a business model that everyone can be happy with, but does that breathe a winning environment. No it doesn't.

He tried to do both, but it hasn't worked the way that he's wanted it to.

Redknapp was of course pointing to Levy's impressive development of Tottenham's stadium which is now specially built to not just host football week in, week out but also to play host to large scale entertainment events and NFL games.

While today the pressure is high, a win over Manchester United regardless of their placing would go a long way in relieving the currently relentless pressure on both Ange Postecoglou and Daniel Levy. The two sides clash in Sunday's 16:30 kick-off.
