The new Premier League season is fast approaching and Man United fans will be hoping for a better one than the last.
A raft of fresh faces endeavoured to find their feet at Old Trafford and while some - like Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho - really cemented themselves, others flattered to deceive.
It was a challenging campaign for goalkeeper Andre Onana, who looked to fill the void left by the departed David De Gea.
He remains The Red Devils' chief goalkeeper going into the new season, but Onana frequently found himself in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
He was beaten from the halfway line during pre-season before making a number of high profile errors during the season, and despite some decent performances, he often proved to be an unsettling presence behind the United defence.
Onana's latest comments should concern Manchester United fans
The Cameroonian has done little to ease the nerves of his team's supporters going into the new season if his latest comments are anything to go by.
Speaking to The Telegraph, Onana looked ahead to the upcoming Premier League season as United - who have won the League Cup and FA Cup under Erik Ten Hag - look to bring that consistency to the league.
Onana, who likes to play with the ball at his feet, has warned that he will continue to take risks while urging fans to trust him.
It’s what you’re going to see… because I will take a lot of risks," he said.
"I can tell you in advance already! Be prepared because it’s going to be this season, trust me!"
Not exactly what United fans will want to hear at a time when they are craving consistency and defensive solidity.
We cannot imagine Man City's Ederson or Liverpool's Alisson Becker making similar comments.
Whether these remarks age well or come back to bite the 28-year-old remains to be seen with the season due to start with United welcoming the challenge of Fulham on Friday, August 16.
