Celtic picked up a much-needed 1-0 win against Aberdeen in yesterday's Scottish Premiership tie. Despite doing what they can to keep up with Hearts at the time of the league, the talk of the game was a tackle on Celtic's striker Odsonne Edouard.

Victim to a vicious scissor-tackle from Aberdeen's Scott McKenna, the referee Bobby Madden amazingly decided that it wasn't even worthy of a foul.

Limping off and taking no further part in proceedings, the French striker Edouard has today taken to Instagram to share a photograph of the incident, and the explanation Madden offered for not blowing his whistle.
