Manchester United's failure to get a result against West Brom confirmed what was expected for quite some time now, Manchester City are the Premier League champions.
Pep Guardiola's outfit stormed away from the pack early in the season and never looked back. It marks Guardiola's seventh trophy in nine seasons and one particular pundit was forthcoming with ample praise for the Spanish manager.
Speaking on Super Sport, Tim Sherwood heaped praise on the City boss.
I think if Pep Guardiola is the manager of any of the teams in the top four he wins the league with their squads. I think he's that good. I think given time with them squads, two years, with any of the squads, I'm talking Tottenham, I'm talking Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester United he would win the league with those squads.
As for Manchester United's performance, Sherwood was less than impressed.
Come back here in front of their home fans and deliver that today. That is an unacceptable performance from a team of the size and stature of Manchester United football club. There is absolutely no identity about Manchester United at the minute. I don't know what to expect from them, one day we are getting average, one day very poor and one day very good. There's no plan, no identity. I don't know how they play anymore. That is not good enough for Manchester United football club.
Quite surprisingly, United fans agreed with 'tactics Tim's' analysis.
I dont like this Tim Sherwood guy but he is so damn right in his analysis 😂, this is absolutely unbelievable performance displayed by @ManUtd at old traford, absolutely bollocks #gutted anyway congratulations to man city #premierleague#champions2017/2018

Agree with Tim Sherwood. There's no clear pattern as to how Manchester United play. Fans have no idea what to expect.
