After his increasingly disparaging remarks about the refereeing performances in recent Arsenal games, Arsene Wenger has been rewarded for his "flippant" comments with a 3-game touchline ban.

Coming into immediate effect, Wenger has also been hit with a £40,000 fine.
Forced to witness Arsenal's next three fixtures from the stands, their FA Cup third-round opponents Nottingham Forest have been quick to offer some condolence to the frustrated Frenchman.

A wonderful response to Wenger's unfortunate situation, the Championship club are hopeful the Arsenal boss does not have to brave the Winter elements at their most fierce.
Some of Arsenal's less humourous fans didn't take too kindly to Forest's concern for Wenger's well-being however.

The trip to Nottingham will signal Arsenal's first test as they seek to retain the trophy they won last May.
With a League Cup semi-final against Chelsea on the horizon and their Premier League fixture list showing no sign of abating, Forest fans may fancy their chances of an upset on Sunday afternoon.
