We're not anti-Paul McShane here at Balls.ie. We're a bit doubtful that he has the ability to play at the highest level of European football, but we never doubted his heart and patriotism. He was quite on Saturday against Bosnia. We are superstitious though and we do wish the FAI would have thought of giving McShane a different number when they were announcing the official jersey numbers today. It brings back very painful memories of a certain November night in Paris.
13 is not lucky in this instance.
