Steven Gerrard has enjoyed a decent start to life in the MLS, and his reunion with Robbie Keane has resulted in exactly what we thought it would; a run of goalscoring form for the Irish captain.
While Robbie has jetted over to Dublin to represent his country, Stevie G has been left in LA and despite living in one of the busiest and most entertaining cities on Earth, he's been getting all sentimental on his Instagram account.
On Wednesday night Gerrard tweeted the following, with the caption as simply "Spine".
And to be fair, what a spine it was.
Pepe Reina, Jamie Carragher and a young Martin Sktel, the defensive midfield security blanket of Javier Mascherano and Xabi Alonso leading into Gerrard himself supplying Fernando Torres at the peak of his powers.
The type of spine that could carry the likes of Ryan Babel and to a lesser extent Fabio Aurelio with consummate ease.
