Clitheroe striker Jay Hart has been sacked after he was filmed having sex with a supporter in one of the dugouts.
His (former) club currently play in the Evo-Stik Division 1 North, which is only three tiers away from the Conference. They were away at Mossley AFC, who were hosting their annual 'ladies day', an initiative aimed at getting more women in the ground.
After the 4-1 defeat, Hart, a father of two, chose to mark ladies day by having sex with a supporter in the dugout. Or on top of the dugout to be more precise.
They were secretly being filmed and the footage was being circulated among teammates. Hart may have gotten away with had he not worn the club tracksuit.
Club chairwoman Anne Barker wasn't having it, saying that 'any player while wearing a Clitheroe tracksuit represent the club. We expect a certain level of behaviour and discipline and that wasn't it.'
Hart himself was very contrite about the whole thing. He has a quite eminently believable explanation of what was going through his head at the time.

His girlfriend, Bryony Hibbert appears more upset at the filming of the incident than about the incident itself, expressing her anger on the Clitheroe Football Club Facebook page.
Have a bit of decency for the people it's affected. Thank god my kids are too young to read.
It's disgusting. I bet their families are far from perfect.
As if all that trauma wasn't enough, Hart has been forced to return the club tracksuit.
