Nike Air Max are a very popular shoe in Ireland, and although they certainly are not to everyone's tastes, a new design set to be launched in 2016 may just change that, at least for football fans.
After the 1998 World Cup, the iconic R9 Nike Vapors were the must have pair of football boots for kids all over the World, and with good reason, as they were truly a sight to behold:
They were everywhere, especially football Summer Camps in the years that followed the 98 World Cup. Actually thinking about it now it was rare to see someone wearing boots that weren't either these or Adidas Predators.
Nike have now decided to release a trainer based on the boots, and you can expect to see them in a gym near you very soon:
Nice.
It's a subtle homage, but we're big fans of that grey/black colourway.
Expect to see these officially unveiled for summer 2016.
