Football boots are a funny old thing, as some people obsess about them, while others couldn't care less.
We love a nice pair of boots here at Balls.ie, and some of the loud efforts that we have seen from the likes of Nike and Adidas in recent times have left us yearning for the good old days when boots didn't look like they had been attacked by a luminous spray paint can.
Thankfully, Nike have unveiled their new line of leather boots in the Magista, Tiempo, Hypervenom, and Mercurial models, and while they do have a splash of bright colour, it's just enough for us to give them our seal of approval, have a look:
A closer look: Once again, the Tiempo takes the cake. What a classy boot:
That's much more like it from Nike, and coupled with the extremely sensible Adidas Gloro boots, there actually will be a decent selection of boots available in shops in the near future (official release is expected around August).
By the way, the above boots are all available in slightly more ridiculous colours, if that's your thing. We won't judge.
