Throwbacks and tributes are all the rage for sports manufacturing giants such as Nike and Adidas, and that's a good thing for those who love a bit of nostalgia as we've seen the outstanding Nike Mercurial R9 remake last year and are counting down the days until Adidas release the Champagne Predator Mania remake this summer.
But today Nike have unveiled their latest effort as they released the latest colourways in their Hypervenom, Magista, Mercurial, and Tiempo silos with a not to the most popular 'Air Max' runners of the 90s.
The iconic Air Max 95 and Air Max 97 shoes, along with two styles of Air Max 90s, have been applied to the latest boots that Nike put out, and the results are quality.
Most impressive is the new Nike Magista, fashioned on the Air Max 97:
Then you have the Hypervenom which takes after the Air Max 95:
The Mercurial gets the Air Max 90 paint-job and it works really well:
And lastly, also a nod to the Air Max 90, the Tiempo is just a beautiful boot:
According to FootyHeadlines.com, the boots will be made available in limited quantities from March 26th, so expect to see them rolled out over the international break.
We're big fans of the throwback boots here at Balls.ie, although we've still got a few boots we'd love to see remade.

That said, we're loving Nike's latest effort, the Magistas and Tiempos in particular. A nod to the 90s is always welcome for us.
